Bagan to Mandalay (5 Days) - Up Stream In this Bagan-Mandalay River Cruise trip, we will explore along with the lifeblood of Myanmar – Irrawaddy River, starting from the land of pagodas, Bagan. Sail across the villages of Myanmar to see the authentic lifestyle of Myanmar people in rural areas.
We will also pass through the former royal capital cities of Myanmar to learn the culture and traditions of Myanmar people in the past time and finish our trip at the last royal capital of Myanmar, Mandalay.
Check in to Amata Cruise at Ayeyar Jetty in Bagan ‘around 4 pm.
Amata starts cruising on upriver to Yandabo. We will visit Yandabo on foot in the late afternoon. Yandabo is one of the historical villages of Myanmar where England and Burma were signed for the treaty in 1826. Now a day Yandabo was famous for handmade clay pots. Then we cruise again on upriver to Semikkhone village stay overnight at a sandbank.
Amata starts cruising before breakfast on upriver to Ava. We will reach Ava after lunch and visits Bagayar wooden Monaestary, Yadanar Simee stupa, Watch Tower and Mae Nu Oak Kyuang by a horse-carte in Ava and we will visit Guitar making workshop, U Min Tonesae, Soon Oo Ponnya Shin pagodas by a car in Sagaing. Then we will come back to Amata at Sagaing. Stay overnight in the middle of the river near Sagaing.
Amata Cruise starts cruising before breakfast on upriver to Mandalay. We will visit U Bein Bridge, Mahargandayone Monastery and Mahar Myat Muni Buddha Image before lunch. Then we continue to visit Golden Palace Monastery, World’s biggest book Stupa and we will have sunset on the Mandalay Hill. Amata stays overnight in the middle of the river near Mandalay.
After Breakfast check out from Amata Jetty near ‘ Tanhmoekyun ferry boat jetty ‘ in Mandalay.
