Check in to the boat around 4 pm at Amata Jetty near ‘ Tanhmoekyun ‘ ferry boat Jetty.

After breakfast, we will visit U Bein Bridge, Mahargandayone Monastery and Mahar Myat Muni Buddha Image before lunch. We visit again Golden Palace Monastery, World biggest book Stupa and we will have sunset on the Mandalay Hill. Amata stays overnight in the middle of the river near Mandalay.

Amata Cruise starts cruising before breakfast to Mingun. We will visit Unfinish Temple, The largest intact antique Bell of the world, Hshinbyume Stupa by foot in Mingun. Then Amata cruise again on upriver tonight stop. We will be able to see Ayarwaddy Dolphins (Orcaella ) if we are lucky today. Amata stays overnight in the middle of the river near Seetha village.

Amata starts cruising before breakfast to Nwenyein. We will visit Nwenyein pottery village after breakfast on foot. Nwenyein is one of the famous pottery villages in the country where they produce a lot of glaze pots by hand. Then Amata cruise again on upriver tonight stop. We will pass the Third Defile of Ayarwaddy River as soon as we start cruising. The sceneries of Third Defile are beautiful with bamboo hills, villages and pagodas. Amata cruising about five hours in the Defile. Amata will reach Kyarnyet village in the late afternoon and will stay overnight in the middle of the river.

Amata starts cruising before breakfast on upriver to Tagaung. We will visit Tagaung with Tuk Tuk. Tagaung is one of the oldest capitals of Myanmar where Regional Nat (spirits), Old brick city wall, Market, Lay Myat Nar Temple, and Museum can be seen. Then Amata cruise again on upriver tonight stop. Amata stays overnight at Nat Inn Village.

Amata starts cruising before breakfast on upriver to Katha. We will reach Katha before lunch and visiting there on foot. Katha is a picturesque town with markets, colonial buildings, and beautiful rain trees. Katha town became famous by George Orwell’s book, called Burmese Days. Amata cruise again on upriver tonight stop after visiting Katha. Amata will reach Singonetaing village in the evening and stay overnight at mid-river. Ayarwaddy Dolphins (Orcaella) can be seen today if we are lucky.

Amata starts cruising before breakfast on upriver to Shwegu. We will reach Shwegu before lunch and will visit Shwe Baw Kyun Pagodas on the island by foot. The island was located in the Ayarwaddy River with 150 houses and about 2700 ruin stupas. It was one of the legendary pagodas of King Asoka. Then Amata cruise again on upriver to Bamaw. We will pass the second Defile of Ayarwaddy River after one-hour cruising. The sceneries of the second Defile are very beautiful with wild plants, Bamboo, Villages, high cliff hills, and Pagodas. Amata cruising about one and a half hours in the Defile. Then Amata will reach Near Bamaw in the evening.

Check out at Zayzate Jetty in Bamaw after Breakfast. In order to water level, we go to Bamaw by a small boat.
