  • Embarkation time is 08:00 am and sail through upstream. Approximately (84km), we visiting to the spectacular pottries- making village of Kyauk Myaung, and see the manufacture stages of the famous 50 Gallons (200 Liters) pots (1.5 hours visit). Both lunch and dinner will be served on board. Moor overnight near Nwenyine.

  • After breakfast, set sail at 06:00 am. Our journey will continue upstream until Tagaung, one of the oldest capitals of Myanmar. Excursion into Tagaung, to explore the ancient city archaeological area. Overnight and dinner on board north of Tagaung.

  • After breakfast, we arrive Katha, the setting of the George Orwell’s book “Burmese Days” and also the place where hundreds of the Irrawaddy Flotilla Company ships were scuttled in 1942 before the Japanese could seize them. We explore this pleasant colonial town surrounded by hills plenty of hardwood forests and “Elephant Logging Camp” located west of Katha.(If time permit) Moor overnight on board.

  • After breakfast, we continue sailing upstream to Bhamo and walking tour of the town, an important trading post located just 50 miles from the Chinese border. After lunch, we will try to reach the village of Sinbo set below the 1st Defile by local boat. Moor overnight at Bhamo.   • After breakfast, cast off and sail through downstream from Bhamo and we enter the dramatic 2nd defile with its magnificent cliffs reaching down the narrow channel and visit a typical river village. We arrive at Katha, in the late afternoon, a beautiful town with and interesting market, friendly people, and a unique atmosphere.   • Continue downstream through and cruising the whole day. We will pass the Third Defile and arrive the spectacular potteries- making village of Kyauk Myaung, around early evening, and see the manufacture stages of the famous 50 Gallons (200 Litres) pots. We will arrive near Htone Gyi Village around late evening. After dinner, the classical Ballet, performance by Mandalay Art & Culture School. Moor overnight on boat near a river village.

  • Sailing downstream to Mingun. Visit the unfinished pagoda, the largest working bell in the world Mingun Bell, weighing 90 tones and the biggest hanging undamaged bell in the world. Then visit the “Home For The Aged”. Back to the ship and approximately arrive to Mandalay at 16:00 pm and disembark from the ship.
