  • After breakfast transfer to Sink Gu Jetty and sail through upstream. Approx: 17:00, we visiting to the spectacular potteries making village of Kyauk Myaung, and see the manufacture stages of the famous 50 Gallons (200 Litres) pots (1.5 hours visit). Then, sail through upstream and moor overnight at on board near Malare.

  • Cast off early morning, We explore by foot the ancient city of Tagaung viewing the fortifications, a famous nat or spirit shrine and the archaeological area and the fortifications. Continue cruising for the rest of day. Moor overnight on board.

  • Cast off early morning, sail through upstream, arrive Katha. Upon arrival, the setting of the George Orwell’s book “Burmese Days” and also the place where hundreds of the Irrawaddy Flotilla Company ships were scuttled in 1942 before the Japanese could seize them. We explore this pleasant colonial town surrounded by hills plenty of hardwood forests and “Elephant Logging Camp” located west of Katha. Both Lunch and dinner are on board. Moor overnight on board.

  • After Breakfast, continue sailing downstream to Htigyaint, visit to local market and we climb the Pagoda Hill at Htigyaint with its stunning views of the Irrawaddy. Both Lunch and dinner are on board. Moor overnight on board near Tagaung.

  • After Breakfast, sailing downstream through and cruising the whole day. Along the river view you can see the villages on the river bank. In the late afternoon arrive to Kyauk Myaung. Both Lunch and dinner are on board. Moor overnight on board.

  • Continue downstream to Mingun (Eta 13:00 hrs). Visit the unfinished pagoda, the largest working bell in the world and the “Home For The Aged”. Back to the ship and approximately arrive to Mandalay at 16:00 pm and disembark from the ship.
