Day 1 : Arrival Yangon and Explore Yangon
We welcome you to the Land of Glittering Pagodas. On our arrival, our guide and driver will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Our journey starts to the jetty by the Yangon River and proceeds to Botahtaung Pagoda, one of the significant temple-type pagodas in Yangon which houses a sacred hair relic of Buddha. Continue to Sule Pagoda, City Hall, High Court and Independence Monument in Mahabandoola Park. Then enjoy your shopping at Bogyoke Aung San Market and transfer to Myanmar Food Restaurant. We will continue our visit to Chauk Htet Kyi Reclining Buddha and then walk around Kandawgyi Park, visit Karaweik Hall and will have a scenic view of Shwedagon Pagoda from afar. In the evening, we will visit the Grand Shwedagon Pagoda for a most picturesque experience, and transfer back to the hotel.
Day 2 : Yangon – Bago – Golden Rock
After breakfast at the hotel, start a drive to Golden Rock. On the way, visit World War 2 Cemetery for a photo stop and explore Myanmar hand-made pot workshop. Then visit Kyakhat Wine Monastery where over 1000 monks are learning Buddha scripture and we will learn about monastic lives. We will continue to the restaurant for lunch and drive direct to Kimpun base camp. Arrival base camp, it would our exciting time to take air open truck ride up to the mountain. Refreshment at hotel and visit around Golden Rock with sunset and overnight at Mountain Top Hotel.
Day 3 : Golden Rock – Bago – Yangon
After breakfast at the hotel, take the truck down to base camp and drive back to Yangon. On the way, visit to Shwemawdaw Pagoda (the soul of Bago) and Kanbawzathardi palace which is the palace of second Myanmar dynasty to explore more about history of kings of Myanmar and then visit Shwetharlyaung (one of biggest reclining Buddha image) and visit Four facing Buddha images, it is so-called Kyaik Pun Pagoda and then drive back to Yangon.
Day 4 : Yangon – Bagan by morning flight and Bagan explore
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be greeted by our driver to transfer you to the airport to fly to Bagan. On arrival, your journey begins with a visit to a local colorful market where villagers gather every day to buy and sell their product and other goods. Then, continue with a visit to the Shwezigon Pagoda with its golden stupa for an introduction to Bagan’s rich history. Next, we will visit nearby Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite Jataka mural paintings, and the elegant Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations. Lunch at the restaurant and transfer to the hotel to rest. This afternoon begins with a visit to Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece which is one of the Bagan’s most beautiful temples built in the early Mon- Myanmar style. Ananda contains two unique Buddha images and its expressions seem to change depending on the distance from which the statue is viewed. From here, travel by horse cart to Thatbyinnyu- the highest temple in Bagan, and the massive Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the plains from the upper terrace of one of the pagodas, and back to your hotel.
Day 5 : Continue Bagan by Biking
Today we will visit the rural village of Minnanthu, one of the places where we can see cotton weaving and farmers harvesting the crops in their fields. We’ll use this place as a starting point to explore more notable temples of Bagan such as Laymyathnar Monastery Complex, Phayathonsu, Nandamannya with detail mural painting from the 13th century. We will have lunch at one of the local restaurants and then back to the hotel for a break from the mid-day heat. Later in the afternoon begins with a visit to Myinkabar village where you can visit a traditional lacquerware workshop and observe the production of one of Burma’s best-known handicrafts. Our journey continues to Manuha Temple with its huge Buddha images, Nanpaya built with sandstone and Gubyauk Gyi Temple (Myinkaba) where you can see very colorful mural paintings of the Bagan period. Then, in the evening, head to the jetty for a slow sunset cruise down the Irrawaddy River. On this cruise, you will observe the lifestyle of fishermen and riverside villages as well as enjoy the unique perspective of Bagan’s temples. Return to your hotel and overnight.
Day 6 : Excursion to Set Set yo village and Nga Ta Yout village
After breakfast at the hotel, greet at the hotel and start a drive to the rural village. On the way, explore palm fields and its usage in Myanmar and tasting palm juice would be fantastic. Continue to Nga Ta Yout village and explore local cottage such as wooden shoes making, pottery and Myanmar traditional food “Pone Ye Kyi” and back to Bagan.
Day 7 : Fly to Mandalay and Amarpura and Mandalay city explore
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport and fly to Mandalay. On arrival to Mandalay, we will start visiting Mahargandayone Monastery to learn more about Buddhism. And then, Your adventure in Mandalay starts with Mahanumi Pagoda, Mandalay Palace, Golden Palace Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and ends the day at Mandalayhill for sunset and back to hotel for overnight.
Day 8 : Mingun by boat and Sagaing and Innwa, U Bein Bridge
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to jetty and take a boat to the Mingun and visit Mingun Pagoda, world’s third largest Mingun bell and back to Mandalay and Proceed to Ava (Innwa). Innwa tour highlights include the 27-meter-high Masonry Watch Tower, Nan Myint (or) the ”Leaning Tower of Innwa”, Bagaya Monastery built with 276 teak pillars, and observe Myanmar tradition Alms bowls workshop. After lunch, visit Sagaing Hill. We will drive to Amarapura to enjoy the sunset at U Bein Bridge, made of teak logs and planks over 200 years ago by Mayor U Bein. Back to Mandalay and transfer to the hotel.
Day 9 : Mandalay – Heho by flight and Heho – Pindaya – Kalaw
After breakfast at the hotel, greet and transfer to airport and fly to Heho. On arrival, proceed to Pindaya and visit around Cave and local umbrella making the workshop and proceed to Kalaw and Pingamon Monastery, Hnee Phaya, Bamboo Buddha image and colonial palace in Kalaw and a visit to Market would be fantastic.
Day 10 : A visit to Elephant Camp and drive to Inle Lake
After breakfast at the hotel, pick up and transfer to the place where you start trek to the elephant camp. Enjoy your time at an elephant camp and then drive to Inle Lake.
Day 11 : Boat trips around the Inle Lake and Indein village
After breakfast at the hotel, start Inle Lake sightseeing including floating islands, Heya Ywama Village, Phaung Daw Oo Phaya and the unique leg-rowers on the lake with their traditional fishing style. We will also visit local small villages with silversmiths, weaving, and long-necked Padaung women. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant serving Inthar cuisine. Continue your journey to Indein village. On the way, don’t hesitate to photograph the scenic views of the lake! We will visit the Indein villages and the ancient Shwe Indein Pagoda and then head back to the hotel.
Day 12 : Heho – Yangon by flight and Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport and fly back to Yangon and Departure.
