Day 1 Heho Airport-Inle Lake sightseeing

Day 5 Horse ride and transfer to Heho airport

Day 1          Heho Airport-Inle Lake sightseeing

On your arrival at Heho airport, our friendly guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to NyaungShwe. Visit ancient Shwe Yan Pyay monastery on the way. Upon arrival at NyaungShwe, check in to your hotel (early check in on request and availability). Today, we will start Inle Lake sightseeing including floating islands, HeyaYwama Village, Phaung Daw OoPhaya and the unique leg-rowers on the lake with their traditional fishing style.  We will also visit local small villages with silversmiths, weaving and long-necked Padaung women. After that, transfer you to your hotel. Relax and overnight.

Day 2          Indein-Kyar Tone Pa-Oh Village Trek-Inle Lake

After breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up and we will head out to Indein village by boat. Visit the ruined Indein Pagoda Complex partly covered by vegetation, the area looks like a pagoda forest. Crossing the bamboo forests on the way, you will reach the ruined ancient Shwe Indein Pagodas that stand on the hill slope providing a panoramic view to the lake. After that we will take trekking to Kyar Tone Pa-Oh Village (approximately 2 hours) who learn their living by agriculture cultivating like chili, garlic, ground-nut, wheat, sesame. We will walk around the village to visit traditional handicrafts workshop like bronze casting, wood carvings and so on. In the afternoon, we will walk down back to Indein pagoda where your boat awaits. Then, transfer back to your hotel. Relax and overnight.

Day 3          Sakar sightseeing and overnight at Sakar

Have breakfast at hotel. This morning, pick up from your hotel and we will take the boat trip to Sakar village (approximately 3hrs). Visit Tha Gaung Relic Pagoda, other ancient religious monuments and ways of life of Shan, Pa-Oh and Intha national races in Sakar village. After that, transfer you back to your hotel and relax. Stay overnight at Phayartaung.

Day 4          Trekking around Paoh Villages – Sakar – Inle Lake

Today, we will make a light trekking around Pa-Oh villages. Go to the trekking point, Phayartaung, and then explore the lakes south of Inle. On the trekking way, we will visit Naung Bo Village which is famous as pottery village and you can experience their own unique style. Then proceed to Yay Pu Village which is also nearby Pa-Oh village with hot natural springs. We will have a chance to visit the foot print of the Lord Buddha through a very nice natural forest, with great views over the lake. And explore to Kan Daw Village where you can see water spring and dramatic caves in surrounding area. Then we will get back to the hotel in Inle Lake and stay overnight.

Day 5          Horse ride and transfer to Heho airport

After breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up and visit the Inle Horse Club for an equestrian adventure exploring the lake region. You can experience the area’s natural beauty and cultural attractions from horseback or local horse drawn cart. The six-acre Inle Horse Club plays host to nine friendly horses in an idyllic setting of dragon fruit trees, wild flowers and a small, shimmering- blue lake. Then, we will take two hours scenic horse ride which starts out from Inle Horse Club and meanders through local plantations. On your Horsey adventure you will trot by traditional farming methods of the Shan people. The horses take the local tracks through the Shan foothills to Lwe Kin village. Here you will discover how local villagers create traditional cheroots from locally grown tobacco leaves. After a short stop in good view out of the village we return at a leisurely pace to Inle Horse Club. Then, we will drive back to Nyaung Shwe. Relax and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Then we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to other destinations.
