We welcome you to the Land of Glittering Pagodas. On our arrival, our guide and driver will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Our journey starts to the jetty by the Yangon River and proceeds to Botahtaung Pagoda, one of significant temple-type pagodas in Yangon which houses a sacred hair relic of Buddha. Continue to Sule Pagoda, City Hall, High Court and Independence Monument in Mahabandoola Park. Then enjoy your shopping at Bogyoke Aung San Market and transfer to Myanmar Food Restaurant. We will continue our visit to Chauk Htet Kyi Reclining Buddha and then walk around Kandawgyi Park, visit Karaweik Hall and will have a scenic view of Shwedagon Pagoda from afar. In the evening, we will visit the Grand Shwedagon Pagoda for a most picturesque experience, and transfer back to the hotel.
Day 02: Yangon – Bago – Golden Rock and overnight at Golden Rock
After breakfast at hotel, start drive to Golden Rock. On the way, visit to World War 2 Cemetery for photo stop and explore Myanmar hand-made pot work shop. Then visit to Kyakhat Wine Monastery where over 1000 monks are learning Buddha scripture and we will learn about monastic lives. We will continue to restaurant for lunch and drive direct to Kimpun base camp. Arrival base camp, it would our exciting time to take air open truck ride up to mountain. Refreshment at hotel and visit around Golden Rock with sunset and overnight at Mountain Top Hotel.
Day 03: Golden – Bago – Yangon
After breakfast at hotel, take truck down to base camp and drive back to Yangon. On the way, visit to Shwemawdaw pagoda ( the soul of Bago ) and Kanbawzathardi palace which is the palace of second Myanmar dynasty to explore more about history of kings of Myanmar and then visit to Shwetharlyaung ( one of biggest reclining buddha image ) and visit to Four facing buddha images, it is so-called Kyaik Pun pagoda and then drive back to Yangon.
Day 04: Yangon – Bagan by morning flight and Bagan Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be greeted by our driver to transfer you to airport to fly to Bagan. On arrival, your journey begins with a visit to local colorful market where villagers gather every day to buy and sell their product and other goods. Then, continue with a visit to the Shwezigon Pagoda with its golden stupa for an introduction to Bagan’s rich history. Next we will visit nearby Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite Jataka mural paintings, and the elegant Htilominlo temple, noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations. Lunch at the restaurant and transfer to the hotel to rest. This afternoon begins with a visit to Ananda temple, an architectural masterpiece which is one of the Bagan’s most beautiful temples built in the early Mon- Myanmar style. Ananda contains two unique Buddha images and its expressions seem to change depending on the distance from which the statue is viewed. From here, travel by horse cart to Thatbyinnyu- the highest temple inBagan, and the massive Dhammayangyi Temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the plains from the upper terrace of one of the pagodas, and back to your hotel.
Today we will visit the rural village of Minnanthu, one of the places where we can see cotton weaving and farmers harvesting the crops in their fields. We’ll use this place as a starting point to explore more notable temples ofBagan such as Laymyathnar Monastery Complex, Phayathonsu, Nandamannya with detail mural painting from the 13th century. We will have lunch at one of the local restaurants and then back to hotel for a break from the mid-day heat. Later in the afternoon begins with a visit to Myinkabar village where you can visit a traditional lacquerware workshop and observe the production of one of Burma’s best-known handicrafts. Our journey continues to Manuha temple with its huge Buddha images, Nanpaya built with sandstone, and Gubyauk Gyi temple (Myinkaba) where you can see very colorful mural paintings of the Bagan period. Then, in the evening, head to the jetty for a slow sunset cruise down the Irrawaddy River. On this cruise, you will observe the lifestyle of fishermen and riverside villagers as well as enjoying the unique perspective of Bagan’s temples. Return to your hotel and overnight.
Day 06: Bagan – Mandalay by morning flight and Amarapura, Sagaing and Innwa
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be greeted by our driver to transfer to the airport for your flight to Mandalay. On arrival, be welcomed by our guide and your journey in Mandalay begins. Today we’re going to learn more about Buddhism in our culture, and will start by visiting Mahar Gandar Yon Monastery, where you can observe the daily life of monks and novices studying Buddha’s scriptures. Proceed to Ava (Innwa). Innwa tour highlights include the 27-meter-high Masonry Watch Tower, Nan Myint (or) the ”Leaning Tower of Innwa”, Bagaya Monastery built with 276 teak pillars, and observe Myanmar tradition Alms bowls workshop. After lunch, visit Sagaing Hill. We will drive to Amarapura to enjoy the sunset at U Bein Bridge, made of teak logs and planks over 200 years ago by Mayor U Bein. Back to Mandalay and transfer to the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, visiting Maha Muni Pagoda, famous for its lifelike Buddha image. You will then explore Myanmar arts and crafts making workshops such as stucco, tapestry, gold-leaf, and will bring you to a local Myanmar food restaurant for lunch. After lunch, start your exploration from the Northeast corner of MandalayPalace. Visit the Shwenandaw Kyaung, the Golden Teak Monastery which was constructed entirely of golden teak. This impressive wooden monastery was once part of the Mandalay Palace. Continue by trishaw to Atumashi Kyaung monastery and on to Kuthodaw Paya, more commonly known as the World’s Biggest Book. The slabs of marble are inscribed with the entire Tripitkata; Buddhist scriptures. We will go up to the top of Mandalay hill where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Mandalay and spectacular sunset and transfer back to Hotel.
After breakfast at hotel, greet and transfer to airport and fly to Heho. On arrival, drive to Pindaya. Be ready your camera to shoot photos of beautiful mountain range and farms along the way. Arrival Pindaya, explore Pindaya cave, umbrella-making cottage and proceed to Kalaw. Explore Pingamon Monastery, Hnee Phaya, Bamboo Buddha image and colonial palace in Kalaw and a visit to Market would be fastantic.
Day 09: Kalaw – Inle trekking and overnight at monastery or village
Firstly we go to the starting point from Nyaung Shwe by car or Tot Tot. Then we go to Htat Eain lower village which is famous for natural lime stone cave. And Lwe Kin village where they grow cheroot plants, corn and beans in their farms. And then we are heading to Htat Eain upper village. We have lunch in that village. After lunch we coutine to Nar Nwet village and Yin Pyar village for night stop.
After breakfast, we leave about 8:00 am and continuing to Hsin Mee village where we can see Pa-O people. After that Kone Son Village to see the panoramic view to Inle Lake where we can see Pa-O and Taung Yoe tribes and stop for lunch break. After lunch, we go on to Taung bu village. On the way we pass through the Red-Mountain vineyard. And then we will go on to Kandaw and Nyaun Phyu village where Intha people are living in there. One the way, we can visit Lwe Ngam monestary for a break and go to Dalapin village and Lwe Khauk village for night stop.
Day 11: Kalaw – Inle trekking and overnight at NyaungShwe
After breakfast, we go to Hpon Tal village, Bawletbath village and walk down to Mine Thauk village and to your hotel and relax at Hotel.
Day 12: Inle lake sightseeing and Indein village
After breakfast at the hotel, start Inle Lake sightseeing including floating islands, Heya Ywama Village, Phaung Daw Oo Phaya and the unique leg-rowers on the lake with their traditional fishing style. We will also visit local small villages with silversmiths, weaving and long-necked Padaung women. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant serving Inthar cuisine. Continue your journey to Indein village. On the way, don’t hesitate to photograph the scenic views of the lake! We will visit the Indein villages and the ancient Shwe Indein pagoda and then head back to the hotel.
Day 13: Biking around Nyaung Shwe
After breakfast at hotel, visit to one of the famous attraction of Inle Lake, 5 Days Market and continue to Indein village and visit to ancient Shwe Indein Pagoda. Back to Nyung Shwe and in the evening biking Nyaung Shwe to explore small villages around Nyaung Shwe and back to Hotel.
Day 14: A visit to Kakku – Taunggyi
After breakfast at hotel, greet at Hotel in the Lake or Nyaung Shwe and drive to Taunggyi (1 hours). Continue to Kakku Pagoda Complex, Taung Gyi features a cluster of fantastic ancient monuments and is located in the heart of Shan State. It is mainly a group of thousands of pagodas and temples which were built in the 16th century. And on the way visit to Htan-Pya-Ya and visit Aye Thar Yar Winery if time available and then transfer back to Hotel.
Day 15: Heho –Yangon by morning flight and leisure day
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport to fly to Yangon. On arrival Yangon, greet at airport and transfer to hotel and free day.
