Day 1: Arrival Yangon and Explore Yangon

On the first day, our guide and driver will come to the hotel start the sightseeing of the day to the downtown area where you can explore a range of colonial buildings around the city on foot. Our journey continues to visit Yangon City Hall, which is centrally located in downtown Yangon and considered a fine example of Burmese architecture, featuring traditional roofs. It is next to several important landmarks such as Sule Pagoda, MahaBandula Park that is a public park, high court, and the main post office, these are colonial style buildings to explore. We will have lunch at an authentic Myanmar food restaurant. And then go to Bogyoke Aung San Market at where there are 2,000 sprawling shops for clothes, gemstones and jewelry, Myanmar traditional arts & crafts and souvenirs. Then proceed to Musmeah Yeshua Synagogue that is the last remaining Jewish house of worship in Downtown Yangon and Burma’s only synagogue. Our day will end at Shwedagon Pagoda, which is the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar and surrounded by an array of temples, shrines, and pavilions. We will back to the hotel and relax.

Day 2: Yangon-Golden Rock – Bago

After breakfast at the hotel, start the drive to Golden Rock. On the way, visit World War 2 Cemetery for the photo stop and explore Myanmar hand-made pot workshop. We will drive direct to Kimpun base camp. Arrival base camp, it would our exciting time to take air open truck ride up to the mountain. Visit around Golden Rock and back to base camp. Then, drive back to Bago and upon arrival at Bago; we will enjoy the leisure time at the hotel.

Day 3: Bago sightseeing and fly to Bagan

After breakfast at hotel, we will visit Shwemawdaw Pagoda (the soul of Bago) and Kanbawzathardi palace which is the palace of second Myanmar dynasty to explore more about history of kings of Myanmar and then visit Shwetharlyaung (one of biggest reclining Buddha image) and visit Four facing Buddha images, it is so-called Kyaik Pun Pagoda and then drive back to Yangon airport and take the flight to Bagan. Upon arrival at Bagan, we will transfer to your hotel and you can enjoy the swimming at the hotel.

Day 4: Bagan sightseeing

Today, our journey begins with a visit to the local colorful market where villagers gather every day to buy and sell their product and other goods. Then, continue with a visit to the golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda for an introduction to Bagan’s rich history. And visit nearby Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite Jataka mural paintings; the elegant Htilominlo temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations. Then, have lunch at the restaurant and back to your hotel to reload. This afternoon begins with the visit to Ananda temple, an architectural masterpiece and one of Bagan’s most beautiful temples. Built in the early Mon- Myanmar style, Ananda contains two unique Buddha images whose expressions seem to change depending on the distance from which the statue is viewed. Proceed to visit Thatbyinnyu, the highest temple in Bagan; massive Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the plains from the upper terrace of Shwe San Daw Pagoda. And back to your hotel.

Day 5: Continue Bagan city explore

We will visit the rural village of Minnanthu, one of the places where you can see cotton weaving. We’ll use this place as a starting point to explore Bagan famous temples such as Laymyathnar Monastery Complex, Phayathonsu, Nandamannya with detest mural painting from 13th century. Then, have lunch at one of the local restaurants and back to the hotel for a break of a few hours to hide away from the midday scorching weather. Later this afternoon begins with a visit to Myinkabar village where you can observe a traditional lacquer ware workshop about the production of one of Burma’s best-known handicraft. Then, Manuha temple with huge Buddha images, Nanpaya built with the sandstone, Gubyauk Gyi temple (Myinkaba) with where you can see very colorful mural painting from Bagan period. Then, in the evening, to catch the sunset, make your journey to jetty for a slow cruise down the Irrawaddy River by boat. As you cruise down, observe the lifestyle of fishermen and riverside villagers as well as enjoying the unique perspective of Bagan’s temples. Then, transfer you to your hotel. Relax and overnight.

Day 6: Visit to Mt.Popa – Salay sightseeing

After morning breakfast, explore Mt. Popa, a one-hour drive from Bagan on the road to Mandalay, which rises 1,520 meters into the sky. Climbing to the summit takes about 45 minutes and we can visit the Mahagiri shrine dedicated to the “Nat’s” (spirits) at the top where there is a wonderful panoramic view. Then, our journey proceeds to Salay. On the way, stop at Chauk to enjoy colorful local market which was rarely visited by tourists but were really nice to enjoy and flow with local and taking photos. Then, continue to Salay where you can learn more about monastic lives and the main site of Salay is Yoke Sone Kyaung Monastery, which is fine wood curves. Then back to Bagan and Leisure.

 Day 7: Fly to Mandalay and Amarapura – Mandalay sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport and fly to Mandalay. On arrival to Mandalay, start visiting Mahargandayone Monastery to learn more about Buddhism. Our adventure in Mandalay starts with Mahanumi Pagoda, Old Palace, Kuthodaw Pagoda, the world biggest book and recognized as UNESCO ‘s heritage site and Golden Palace Monastery and ends the day at Mandalay hill for sunset and back to the hotel.

Day 8: Mingun by boat and Sagaing and Innwa, U Bein Bridge

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to jetty and take the boat to the Mingun and visit Mingun Pagoda, world’s third largest Mingun bell and back to Mandalay and proceed to Ava (Innwa). Innwa tour highlights include the 27-meter-high masonry watchtower, Nan Myint (or) the ”Leaning Tower of Innwa”, Bagaya Monastery built with 276 teak pillars, and observe Myanmar tradition alms bowls workshop­­­­­. After lunch, visit Sagaing Hill. We will drive to Amarapura to enjoy the sunset at U Bein Bridge, made of teak logs and planks over 200 years ago by Mayor U Bein. Transfer you to the hotel and leisure.

Day 9: Drive to Pindaya and Pindaya sightseeing and overnight at Kalaw

After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed to Pindaya (7-hr drive). Be ready your camera to shoot photos of beautiful mountain range and farms along the way. Arrival Pindaya, explore Pindaya cave, decorated with many Buddha’s statues, local umbrella-making cottage and proceeds to Kalaw and overnight.

Day 10: Visit Elephant Camp and drive to Inle Lake

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver and guide will pick up you at the hotel and then drive to Elephant Camp. Arrival Elephant Camp, necessary information about camp will be given by English speaking staff. And walk (5-7 mins) to elephant village and see the life of mahouts with their families. Lunch will be served at the main camp. And then we may explore around the forest area, opportunity to see butterflies, birds, and orchids in their conversion area if you want to spend the longer time in nature. Return to the main camp and enjoy the view through the valley. And then drive back to Kalaw and proceed to Inle Lake. Overnight and relax.

Day 11: Inle Lake and Indein village sightseeing

Today, we will start Inle Lake sightseeing including Floating Islands, Heya Ywama Village, Phaung Daw Oo Phaya and the unique leg-rowers and their traditional fishing style and you can visit local small cottage like silversmith, weaving cottage by Kayan women and transfer back to the hotel. Then lead to, in the south of the lake, the ruins of Indein, which are certainly worth a visit. Partly covered by vegetation, the area looks like a pagoda forest. We will walk about an hour to enjoy a fantastic view over the lake and visit a school in Tha Ley village. Then back to the hotel your hotel. Relax and overnight.

Day 12: Biking around Nyaung Shwe and fly back to Yangon

Today after breakfast at the hotel, we leave Inle Lake in the morning and embark on Nyaung Shwe for biking around the villages. Bike around the Nyaung Shwe market and Shwe Yan Pay monastery. Then, head out for lunch. Bike to the eastern part of the lake to explore more villages and Winery. Relax and tasting wine. Back to hotel and fly back to Yangon. On arrival, pick up and transfer to Hotel.

Day 13: Yangon sightseeing

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will continue Yangon city explore by going to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda which is 72 meters long reclining Buddha image and one of the largest images in Myanmar and will have a lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, go to walk around Kandawgyi Park and take pictures of Karaweik Hall. After that, we will start visiting U Thant House. U Thant was the Secretary General of UN and his home is opened as a museum, which is a good place to discover his lifetime and the history of cold war. And then go to visit Botahtaung Pagoda. It is a famous pagoda located in downtown Yangon, near the Yangon River. It is hollow within and houses what is believed to be a scared hair of Buddha. Then proceed to the downtown to visit the temples such as Shri Kali Hindu temple and Chinatown (Guanyin temple). And then we will get back to the hotel.

Day 14: Yangon departure

Transfer airport for the departure flight back to home.
