4 Days in Luang Prabang Tour

After breakfast, we’ll set off to explore some of the best sights in Luang Prabang. Our itinerary includes a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, where you can discover a range of fascinating artifacts from the city’s Royal period. We’ll also visit the city’s oldest temples, such as the magnificent Wat Xiengthong and the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, as well as the shrine of Wat Aham.After a relaxing break back at your hotel to let lunch settle, we’ll head to the Arts and Ethnology Centre in the late afternoon to learn more about the diverse ethnic cultures of Laos. We’ll then venture out of town to visit the weaving villages of Ban Xiengkhong and Ban Xienglek. If you like, you can enjoy a coffee at the center’s café before we climb to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and take in the breathtaking panoramic view of the city and the sunset over the Mekong River.As we descend the mountain, we’ll find ourselves immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of the famous Luang Prabang Night Market, where you can discover a unique selection of locally-made textiles and handicrafts by both ethnic Lao and hill tribe people from the surrounding areas. You’ll spend the night at your hotel, ready for another exciting day in Luang Prabang.

Experience the unique morning ritual of Alms Giving or take the morning at your leisure. Later, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Mekong River to visit the ancient Pak Ou Caves. Enjoy a refreshing swim and visit the Bear Sanctuary at the Khouangsi Waterfall. Visit Ban Tha Pan village and meet the Kamu people, then head to Ban Ou to meet the Lao Loum people and finally, visit the Hmong people at Ban Na Ouane village. Stop by Ban Phanom, famous for its hand weaving, before returning to Luang Prabang for the night.
