6 Days Laos Adventure Tour

After having breakfast at hotel, join an exciting tour of Vientiane’s major temples, including the oldest Wat Sisaket, with its miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple Wat Prakeo. We’ll also visit the iconic That Luang Stupa and stop to capture photos of the impressive Patuxay Monument on the way to the COPE Center, established to support UXO survivors. After lunch, we’ll drive to the enchanting Buddha Park and admire over 200 religious sculptures recreated by a mysterious Buddhist monk. Our overnight stay will be in Vientiane. Overnight at hotel.

Embark on an adventure to Vang Vieng by taking the high-speed train in the morning. Upon arrival, we will proceed to the start of our kayaking journey along the picturesque Nam Song River. After receiving paddling instructions and a safety briefing, we will paddle downstream and encounter small sets of rapids before reaching Tham Xang, the Elephant Cave. We will explore the cave’s theater-like structure and learn about the local history. A picnic lunch awaits us at a riverside spot, followed by a visit to the Organic Farm, where we can sample mulberry tea and various fruit wines. Next up is Tham None Cave, the largest in Vang Vieng, which served as a bomb shelter during the Second Indochina War. Our guides will reveal the cave’s history and the magic of the “Magic Stone of Vang Vieng.” Finally, we will gently paddle downstream to Vang Vieng, arriving in time to catch the sunset. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we’ll take you on a full-day tour of the town’s most charming highlights. Discover the National Museum, housed in the historic Royal Palace, and admire its collection of Royal artifacts. Stroll along the peaceful streets, and take in the splendor of famous temples, such as Wat Xieng Thong and Wat Vitsoun. Start your day with a unique experience by participating in the daily morning ritual of Alms Giving. Witness saffron-clad monks collecting offerings from locals, a tradition preserved only in Laos. After breakfast, we head to Khouangsi Waterfall, stopping by the morning Phousi Market to see locals buying their daily goods. At Khouangsi, take a refreshing swim in the topaz pools, walk through forest trails, and visit the Bear Sanctuary. Next up, a scenic cruise up the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves, an ancient pilgrimage site featuring thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha images. Climb Mount Phousi to see the sacred gilded stupa and panoramic sunset views. End your day with a stroll through the Street Night Bazaar, known for its handicraft collections.
