Yangon, the former capital of Myanmar is a thriving and bustling city and the most important commercial center of Myanmar. You can experience to see the Burmese architecture when you look at the Yangon city hall which features traditional roofs. Now, Yangon becomes the awe-inspiring city with good vibes.
Visiting Golden Rock, which is famous for delicately balancing on the edge of a cliff as well as being the third most important Buddhist pilgrimage site in Myanmar will give us an atmosphere of miracles with full of excitement. It would be our exciting time to take an open-air truck ride up to the mountain and enjoy the full of wonder at the amazing sight of Golden Rock.
Visiting the glorious Bagan and the hidden villages near Bagan give us unforgettable memory in our life by exploring many impressive Myanmar stupas and forgotten the tradition of Burmese children far beyond.
Next stop is the royal capital Mandalay where you can learn the interesting history of Myanmar Dynasty. It will be of a great chance to see the authentic Burmese local handicrafts and workshops like the tapestry, wood carvings, gold leaf making, etc.
Inle Lake, which is one of the remarkable destinations of Myanmar, will give you a different feeling from other destinations. Day 1 : Arrival Yangon and Explore Yangon
We welcome you to the golden land of Myanmar to starts your classic adventure. Our adventure starts exploring this biggest city of Myanmar Yangon including Chauk Htet Kyi Reclining Buddha, the third largest one in Myanmar and go to walk around Kandawgyi Park, take pictures of Karaweik Hall and get an amazing distant view of the Shwedagon Pagoda. Next, we will try local tea to learn tea culture of Myanmar People at Local Tea Shop (Optional). Finally, here comes the time for the masterpiece of your first day in Myanmar so let’s go inside the Grand Shwedagon Pagoda in the evening for the most picturesque experience. Later in the evening, we return to our hotel.
Day 2 : Yangon – Bagan by morning flight and Bagan explore
We will fly to Bagan today. On arrival, our journey begins with a visit to a local colorful market where villagers gather every day to buy and sell their products and other goods. Continue your journey with a visit to the golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda for an introduction to Bagan’s rich history. We will visit the elegant Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations. We will have lunch at a restaurant and then transfer to your hotel to take a rest of 1-2 hours. This afternoon, our Myanmar adventure begins with a visit to Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece which is one of the Bagan’s most beautiful temples built in the early Mon-Myanmar style. Ananda contains two unique Buddha images and its expressions seem to change depending on the distance from which the statue is viewed. From here visit Thatbyinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan. Enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the plains from Nyaung Lat Phet Hill. And we will get back to the hotel for overnight.
Day 3 : Continue Bagan by Biking
Today we will visit the rural village of Minnanthu, one of the places where you can see cotton weaving and harvesting of the crops. This will be our starting point to explore Bagan’s famous temples such as the Laymyathnar Monastery Complex, Phayathonsu Temple, and Nandamannya with its mural paintings from the 13th century. We will bring you to one of the best local restaurants in Bagan for lunch and back to the hotel for a break of about 1-2 hours. Later this afternoon, we start with a visit to Myinkabar village where you can observe a traditional lacquerware workshop for the production of one of Myanmar’s best-known handicraft. Our journey continues to Manuha Temple with its huge Buddha images, Nanpaya Temple built with sandstone, and GubyaukGyi Temple (Myinkaba) where you can see colorful mural paintings. In the late afternoon, to catch the sunset, we will make our journey to the jetty for a slow boat cruise down the Ayeyarwaddy River. As we cruise downstream, we will see fishermen and riverside villages as well as a different view of Bagan’s temples. Later we return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 4 : Excursion to Mt.Popa and drive to Mandalay
Mt. Popa is a one-hour drive from Bagan and rises 1,520 meters into the sky. Climbing to the summit takes about 45 minutes where we will visit the Mahagiri Shrine dedicated to the “Nat’s” (spirits). From here the panoramic view is stunning and we can take the photos of it. After it, we will proceed our way to Mandalay and stay overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.
Day 5 : Boat trip to Mingun and Mandalay city explore
After breakfast, we drive to the Mandalay jetty for the boat trip to Mingun (just 12 km upstream from Mandalay on the west bank). Upon arrival, we will visit Pondaw Paya (a five-meter high structure) SettawyaP aya (the valued shrine with a footprint of the Buddha), and Mingun Pahtotawgyi, a massive incomplete monument stupa built by King BodawPaya. We will also see the Mingun Bell (the world-renowned bell weighing 90 tonnes), and Hsinbyume Paya (a representation of the SulamaniPaya which stands atop Mt. Meru). After visiting there, we will be back to Mandalay and have lunch at a local Myanmar food restaurant. After lunch, we will continue Mandalay city explore by Shwenandaw Kyaung. Our adventure continues with a visit to Kuthodaw Paya, more commonly known as the “world’s biggest book”. The slabs of marble are inscribed with the entire Tipitaka Buddhist scriptures. We will go up to the top of Mandalay Hill from where we can enjoy a birds-eye view of Mandalay and hopefully a beautiful sunset. We again overnight in Mandalay.
Day 6 : Three city explore; Amarapura, Sagaing and Innwa and drive to PyinOoLwin
Today we head to the last Myanmar Kingdom’s city, Mandalay, to explore more ancient cities of Myanmar. On arrival in Mandalay, we will take a public boat to travel to Ava (Innwa). Take the horse cart to visit some of the highlights including of the 27-meter-high masonry watchtower, Nan Myint (known as the “Leaning Tower of Innwa”), the Bagaya Monastery built with 276 teakwood pillars, and also observe a Myanmar tradition alms bowls workshop. We may do some travel in the area by horse cart. After lunch, we will visit the holy Sagaing Hill, the hub of Buddhism in Myanmar. We will drive to Amarapura for a romantic sunset at the famous U Bein Bridge, made of teak logs and planks over 200 years ago by Mayor U Bein. We will drive to Pyin Oo Lwin and stay overnight.
Day 7 : Gotheik Viaduct by train and proceed to Hsipaw
After having breakfast at the hotel, transfer you to the train station for 8:30 train to Nwang Pang Station. It will take about 4 hours ride to see Gokteik viaduct, the masterpiece of British Engineering. Our car will be waiting at Nwang Pang station and transfer you to the Hsipaw. On arrival to Hsipaw, transfer to your hotel and overnight at Hsipaw.
Day 8 : Trekking to Waterfall, Shan Villages, Boat Trip in Hispaw
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver and guide will pick us up and transfer to the trekking point. Upon arrival, we will start trekking to Nam Tok Waterfall which is over 100 ft height and has a nice pool at the base. On the way to the waterfall, we can see rice/bean fields, and banana and corn plantation. On arrival at the waterfall, we can enjoy swimming there if we want, and we can also observe limestone caves nearby. After it, continue our way to Shan farmer’s villages where we can see the panoramic scenery of paddy, seasonal crops, and mountain by visiting around the village. We can experience the cultures of Shan people and learn how to make to the local handicrafts by Shan women for their home business such as hand fan, basket with weaving bam-boo and cheroot rolling. Enjoy our lunch at a local home or packed lunch. After lunch, take 1-hour boat ride rolling upstream river for nice scenery with the mountain, valley and fruit plantations along Dotthawaddy River. Stop boat riding to take short trekking up the hill through fruit plantation for 45 minutes to the monastery which is Tai (Shan) monastery aged 150 years old and located alone in the forest. Lastly, we will get back to the jetty and take a boat again to return the hotel. Stay overnight in the hotel at Hsipaw.
Day 9 : Drive to Lashio and flight to Heho, drive to Kalaw
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will pick you up to drive to Lashio for the flight to Heho. On arrival, we will proceed to Kalaw and we will visit around Kalaw including Myin Ma Hti Cave (natural Cave with stupas of Buddha) and then we will drive to your hotel and overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 : A visit to Elephant Camp and drive to Inle Lake
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver and guide will pick up you at the hotel and then drive to Elephant Camp, the most animal-harm-free camp in Myanmar. Arrival Elephant Camp, necessary information about the camp will be given by English speaking staff. And walk (5-7 mins) to the elephant village and see the life of mahouts with their families. Lunch will be served at the main camp. And then we may explore the forest area, opportunity to see butterflies, birds, and orchids in their conversion area if you want to spend more time in nature. Return to the main camp and enjoy the view through the valley. And then drive back to Kalaw and proceed to Inle Lake. Overnight and relax.
Day 11 : Boat trip around Inle Lake and Indein village
After breakfast at the hotel, start Inle Lake sightseeing including the floating Islands, Heya Ywama Village, Phaung Daw Oo Phaya and the unique leg-rowers on the lake with their traditional fishing style. We will also visit local small villages with silversmiths, weaving, and long-necked Padaung women. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant serving Inthar cuisine. Continue your journey to Indein village. On the way to Indein Village, there will be many opportunities to photograph the activities on and around the lake. We will visit the areas around Indein Village and the ancient Shwe Indein Pagoda. Overnight in Nyaung Shwe or Inle Lake.
Day 12 : Heho – Thandwe by flight and leisure at Ngapali Beach
After breakfast, we will be transferred to the airport to fly to Thandwe. On arrival, the driver will wait for you and transfer us to the hotel in Ngapali Beach. The rest of the time is free and leisure.

Day 15 : Thandwe – Yangon by flight and join departure flight
